api An API (Application Programming Interface) is a very simple interface which is used to create a service in a matter of minutes or enhance an existing application, from a computer or a mobile. Our aim is to enable developers to create their own service, by providing them with service building blocks from the Orange platforms. Developers will thus be able to integrate Orange services into their own Web or mobile applications. The API range is available free of charge or for a fee via the Orange Partner website , dedicated to the international developer community. To find out more, simply go on to the portal and sign up.
By opening up its APIs to external developers, our group is confirming its commitment to the joint innovation approach, one of the key aspects of the Web 2.0 adventure.

On the API stand, you will be able to discover a number of concrete examples of APIs, such as the Contact Everyone API, used to Pharmagest to enable pharmacists running the Pharmagest solution to notify their customers when their medication order has arrived, via various means of communication, such as SMS or e-mail. You will also be able to check our the SMS API used to Cervonline, providing an SMS alert service whenever a goal is scored during local football matches.
